Christmas with the Kringles - A Coca-Cola Sponsored Christmas

A Sweet Christmas Event

For this marketing suggestion, the company / brand that I believe would benefit the most from it would be Coca -Cola. The idea here is simple. Seeing as Coca-Cola is big on Christmas and has invented the classic look for Santa Claus that we all know and love, we can use that for our scheme.  My proposal is a Christmas give away. A sponsored Christmas Festival. Here there will be a village where we will have a Christmas market set up for the day. The decorations will be Christmas themed, with Christmas Wreaths and Trees. There will be food – from cookies and pastries to a full-blown Christmas Dinner that will be served for market goers. The drinks that will be served will be free – All of them. Coca - Cola will sponsor other family events through out the day along with the Christmas market. At the end of the night after dinner by a bonfire – the people will get a visit from Santa Claus with gifts for everyone who stayed for dinner. The audience here is families – young families with young children. It could also be for couples and / or grandparents.

Along with posters, flyers and gaining momentum with other sponsors (local) you could also post through the various social media sites that Coca-Cola has – Instagram, Twitter & Facebook. The idea here is that the mentality of the upcoming generations and families are shifting and one thing that makes Coca – Cola successful in its campaign it that it is able to keep up with that. In order to make sure that this event stands out from everything else there will be special links to the information needs – tickets, pricing, events etc. This will be launched come November of this year. The social strategy here is TWITTER and FACEBOOK. The reason why these two are chosen for this, along with whatever propaganda Coca-Cola already used, is because they seem to the one that is the most successful in communicating the activities and events that Coca-Cola has sponsored as well as any of the new flavours or products that they are wanting to introduce to their customer.
